Dr. Sandra Carter , M.A., MPH, Ph.D., Executive Vice President
Dr. Sandra Carter begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting has spent the past 30 years dedicated to the improvement of health and wellness at an individual, community and national level. Her career spans experience in Canada and the United States as a teacher, researcher, administrator and entrepreneur. She has advanced Masters degrees in Exercise Physiology (McGill University) and Public Health (UCLA)and a Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine (USC). Her combined knowledge and experience in health behavior, program development and communications provides enormous insight for product development with M2 Ingredients. Dr. Carter has participated in large population studies, supported by the Center for Disease Control and National Institutes of Health. She has extensive corporate health program development and administration experience in a variety of business and government settings through her work with the American Heart Association and UCLA Center for Health Enhancement. As the Administrative Director for Tahoe Forest Health System, Dr. Carter had oversight for multiple departments including Physical Therapy, Community Health, Diabetic Health, Health Promotions, Occupational Health, Sports Performance and Oncology and was a key to the development of a new women’s diagnostic service center. Her administrative experience in health related industry has positioned her to be a dynamic leader for Mushroom Matrix.
Kim Yuskiewicz, Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Yuskiewicz is currently directing the Equine Division business direction and growth, including development and deployment of sales and marketing strategies, market analysis and research, product placement and growth of sponsored athlete program. Most recently, she served as principal and founder of SoCalHunterJumpers, a company that focused on targeted marketing approaches and strategies to facilitate sales of high-end equine athletes to top riders and trainers. SoCalHunterJumpers averaged annual sales in excess of a million dollars in the past five years of operation, and resulted in numerous satisfied, repeat customers. Prior to launching her own company, Ms. Yuskiewicz spent 15 years in increasingly responsible sales management positions at a number of top hospitality software companies, including IDeaS, Micros-Fidelio and Hotel Information Systems. Her career in the hospitality industry included key management positions at prestigious hotels such as Hilton Hawaiian Village, Caesars Tahoe and Omni Hotels. Kim attended the University of New Hampshire, with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Management. Kim's background combining sales, enterpreneurial business and equine knowledge will foster the growth and potential of Mushroom Matrix.
Leslie Tribble, Sales and Nutrition Support
Leslie is an experienced rider and trainer rider with a background in Animal Nutrition and sales. Leslie has a special interest in exercise physiology and has spent a number of years working as a personal trainer. This interest translates well into both the exercise and nutrition dimensions of Mushroom Matrix supplement services world, for both our equine and human athletes.
Tara Farrar, Logistics Manager
Tara graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts from California State University San Marcos in 2005. Daughter of Mycologist Steve Farrar, Tara has a lifetime of familiarity with mushrooms and mycology. She has in-depth experience with all areas of the company including; fulfillment, sales, customer service, graphic arts, shopping cart maintenance, logistics and shipping.
